Job description
With its Corporate Citizenship program, Accenture takes active responsibility in improving the way we work and live. We are looking for a master student who wants to gain experience in a large international consultancy firm in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility. During this internship, you will be responsible for the local employee volunteer program. You will handle all communications and assist with the organization of events. There is also room to start own initiatives pro-actively. Overall we are looking for someone that possesses a hands-on mentality, is communicative, takes ownership for smoothly running our volunteering program and platform and can keep track of different activities while motivating others.
The internship will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Volunteer program: connect employees as a volunteer to different organizations;
- Internal communication: writing and collecting stories from employees for newsletters, social media, managing the volunteer portal and intranet;
- External communication: relationship management with our non-profit partners;
- Organizing: logistics around events, information sessions and setting up campaigns for employees.
Place in the organization
The internship falls under Accenture’s Corporate Functions. You will report to the Corporate Citizenship Lead within the Netherlands, and you will be in close contact with employees of several other departments within the organization, such as communication & marketing, finance, and HR.
- You are a Master student, in the final year of your graduation from University;
- You have affinity with the field of Corporate Social Responsibility;
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English;
- You can work independently;
- High level of motivation and drive;
- Eagerness to learn.
