Job description
Internship Accenture Transmission & Distribution – Off the gas
Job description
Our energy infrastructure plays an important role in the recently published Dutch coalition agreement. One of the key measures of the agreement is the decommissioning of the gas heating infrastructure for every Dutch household by the year 2050. In practice, this means 30.000 – 50.000 households need to be transferred to other heating sources every year. Examples of these heating alternatives are heat pumps, solar thermal collectors or district heating.
As an Accenture intern, you will investigate one of the largest transformations in the history of Dutch energy infrastructure. By considering the current and future alternatives, it is your objective to identify the most successful applications to replace natural gas. Based on these applications, you will also determine the impact on the Dutch regulatory model and future energy sector. You will be able to collaborate with a broad team of Accenture consultants that actively work in the Dutch energy sector, providing you with contacts at our clients for conducting interviews and collecting data.
