Your Job
The Data Management team is part of the Applied Intelligence group within Strategy & Consulting. Within our team, we are looking for interns who want to write their Master thesis at our office and are interested in exploring topics like:
- The use of Robotics to automate Master Data (e.g. Customer, Vendor, Product) processes
- Intelligent Data Quality, where you examine new ways to identify and solve data quality issues
- Applying Data Governance to a Data Lake/Hub solution
However, we are also happy to brainstorm together in order to find a more suitable topic for you within the Data Management domain. So, how does a “day in the life of a Data Consultancy intern” look like? While we expect you to be independent and take initiative in shaping your daily activities, your day will include the following:
- Enjoy the lively atmosphere at the Accenture Amsterdam office while writing your Master thesis
- Talk to your Accenture colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge and experience with you
- Meet with your supervisor once a week for an in-depth discussion about your thesis
- Have a good cup of coffee or tea at the Buzzy Bean café with your Accenture buddy (Junior Consultant) and talk about the ins and outs of being a consultant at Accenture
- Learn more about the topics that you’re interested in through our Learning Portal and explore interesting projects at our clients via the Accenture Knowledge Exchange
- Expand your network by attending team meetings and events, as well as the monthly internship meetings where all interns present their progress to each other and their supervisors/buddies
At the end of your internship, you will present the outcome of your thesis during one of our team meetings.
Within the Applied Intelligence group, our team consists of 8 people who are all passionate about data. The relatively small size of our team means that you are guaranteed to make an impact! As our team consists of people with different levels of experience, we are well suited to guide you during your internship, both with work-related discussions as well as conversations about life after graduation! We consider an internship the ideal opportunity to see if there is a match from both sides for a Junior Consultant position after graduation.
