Internship – Digital - Standard Industry Data Model

Job Description

Any data related project needs firstly a good data model, where to save the data you want to process, report on or any other kind of activity. Due to this, Data Modelling is very interesting. 

The design of these models often take a lot of time before even reaching a conceptual stage. Therefore it is interesting to have a Standard Model for different Industries at hand, as this will provide you with a head start. Your assignment will consist of 4 sub areas: 

• Choose an industry for which to design a standard data model
• Perform an investigation of what different kind of data models exist for the selected industry
• Compare the different models and create an overview of what differences and gaps are
• Create a proposal for a new standard data model for the selected industry

Basic Qualifications

Are you the perfect candidate? 

• You are in the final year of your HBO or WO; preferably in IT or business IT
• You are a team player with excellent communication skills
• Excellent in both Dutch and English languages
• You are able to work independent
• You are eager to learn and are ambitious
• You are able to solve complex issues of all sorts
