Within the SAP group at Accenture, we continuously conduct research on the latest developments and technologies of SAP (related) products and how these products can help our clients improving their business. As an intern, you help us with the (market) research on these new SAP products/topics, gain hands-on experience by configuring or developing an actual demo and provide an overall analysis including advice on the relevance of the products. The sky is the limit and we encourage you to propose suggestions for the details of your assignment. As an intern, you will work with different stakeholders within and outside of Accenture to obtain the required information.
Currently, we have the following Talent & HR assignments:
- SuccessFactors App Marketplace: When implementing SAP SuccessFactors on a global scale you design, build and implement global HR processes through SAP SuccessFactors, but for local legally, statutory or regulatory reasons you need to differentiate on a local level. SAP SuccessFactors comes standard with a lot of localization deviations, but not all common local requirements are covered. Those can be covered by apps that can be built on top of SAP SuccessFactors and can be sold in the SAP SuccessFactors App Center, which is an open hub providing a directory of partner software offerings that are connected with the SAP SuccessFactors suite. We are looking for an intern that is able to identify the gaps between the SAP SuccessFactors standard solution, most common Dutch requirements and the Dutch requirements already covered by the Dutch marketplace in order to build those apps in a later period of time. To be able to do this research you at least need to understand the app world, HR and SAP’s HR solutions and talk with SAP, customers of SAP SuccessFactors and Accenture’s SAP SuccessFactors consultants.
- SuccessFactors and AI: One of the big differentiators of SAP SuccessFactors is its extensibility. With SAP SuccessFactors you can extend your standard solution and best practices with custom apps and your own practices. Those apps are built on top of SAP SuccessFactors and can be sold in the SAP SuccessFactors App Center, which is an open hub providing a directory of partner software offerings that are connected with the SAP SuccessFactors suite. We are looking for an intern that is able to research for market opportunities for SAP SuccessFactors apps that are supported by innovation through AI (think of Smart speakers like Amazon Echo and Google Home, Voice command assistants like Microsoft Cortana, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri and bots like Slack). The ultimate goal is to develop one of the apps into a Proof of Concept, so you will be asked to do the research, execute an app selection and lead the development of it. To be able to do this research you at least need to understand the app world, talk with SAP and customers and Accenture’s consultants of SAP SuccessFactors.
