Your role:
You’ll help the team on implementing Java micro services and applications for all kind of innovation projects using the latest and most trending development practices and frameworks

- Communicate constructively with team members to cooperatively build a product suite that delights customers
- Write extensible code with high automated test coverage
- Contribute to team decisions about system architecture and the selection of technical tools
- Build attractive and intuitive user experiences
- Cooperate with 3rd party providers of technology and specific knowledge
- Build knowledge in new technological areas
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise and resolve technical challenges. Understand business concerns and contribute to brainstorming pragmatic options to address them

Working with clients, they design, develop and deliver a wide range of challenging and global IT projects. These professionals may build, test, install and maintain software across a variety of projects and industries working with leading enterprise applications such as SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft and Oracle or with custom- built applications the field of Analytics, Mobile, Cloud / SaaS and Digital.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science (or related)
- Eager and passionate about developing software
- Always looking for a new technical challenge and solution
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skill
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Fluent in English and Dutch
Other Professional Skill Requirements and Qualifications:
- Solid foundation in software programming
- Java language experience
- Git skills and basic bash skills (find, grep, cp, mv, less, top, etc.)
- Knowledge of basic data formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
- Basic networking exposure (IP vs. MAC, basic OSI, protocols – HTTP, ssh, TCP, sockets)
- Basic knowledge of Microservices, Docker, and AWS
- Infrastructure competence (OS familiarity, virtual, cloud, package management/install services)
