What will you be doing?
Your main responsibility is to ensure that millions of international travelers can easily access and maneuver across our websites and applications. You easily combine and synchronize the different systems used by Air France-KLM as well as the various aviation systems used worldwide, by making sure they overlap and deliver state of the art API’s. Thankfully you are not alone and will be working closely with several specialists in the Agile Product team. By using a stack of Java, Kotlin, Spring and Docker Kubernetes you work together to ensure customer needs are met around the globe.
Where will you land?
As part of the product API-development team at Air-France KLM, you will be based in Schiphol-Rijk.
Aspiring to deliver to the needs of our customers requires extreme flexibility and innovation on your part. You will also be working with over fifty international and multidisciplinary teams consisting of information analysts, scrum masters, developers, architects, business analysts en product owners. All working together within a unique SAFe environment.
You are currently working toward a Master’s degree with a background in (information) technology. You are independent, curious and have an unruly drive for innovation. You are interested in Computer Science and while you may not have significant experience with API development, it does make you eager and interested to learn more. Since you’ll be working in an international environment with colleagues from various backgrounds, proficiency in English, written and spoken, is a must. The preferable start period is in September for 4-5 days a week.
