Job description
For this internship we are looking for candidate who is available 40 hours per week to start from the latest beginning of September for at least 6 months.
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Work for the Business Group Domestic Appliances with global leadership positions in kitchen appliances, floor care, garment care and air and support the creation, development and market introduction of products and propositions globally.
- Communication between the Business Group “Domestic Appliances” and the markets in the countries (the Marketing Managers & Trade Shopper Marketing Managers).
- Amazon A+ pages: gather content and create the page in our system for other markets to use
- Working with Copywriter to ensure the communication we use is shopper proof: not talking about product features, but about consumer benefits
- Product content checks of focus e-tailers in key markets and how we can improve these pages
- Collecting best practices (to share & re-apply in other markets)
- Updating the Philips Asset Library (PAL) with keywords and images so markets can find everything they need
- Gathering data from retailers in the countries to close-the-loop so we can report success of banners and displays more precisely.
Philips Personal Health in the Domestic Appliances (DA) Business Group. Business Group DA manages creation, development and market introduction of products and propositions globally. Our products are in the areas of Kitchen Appliances, Garment Care, Floor Care and Air. Within Business Group DA, the intern will be part of the Global Marketing Team to support the Global Shopper Marketing Director
- Currently studying towards a Bachelor or Master’s degree in e.g. Business, Management, Marketing or Communication
- With a strong affinity with Retail environment and Downstream Marketing (Retail Marketing specialization is a plus)
- Comfortable with Power Point and Excel.
- You have a pragmatic approach to tasks.
- Creative, able to think “out of the box” and a problem solver
- Has great qualities for project & time management involving stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds, expertise and personality.
- An internship of minimum 6 months (ideally 12 months) on operational Downstream Marketing Project management in a global business environment.
- Working with global markets, among others: Germany, Netherlands, France, US, China and South-East Asia.
- After this internship you will have a clear idea about what Shopper Marketing and e-commerce is at Philips Personal Health what it can bring to a company and why it is an important part of the Management agenda.
