In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be fully part of Planning Performance Analysis (PPA) FP&A CoE BG Support Team. In this role, you will deliver financial planning, reporting and analysis to the leadership of Personal Health BG’s.  This role is really in the heart of the business strategy and performance allowing experiencing and contributing from the inside how both short-term performance and long-term strategy are driven.

You are responsible for

  • Financial planning and analysis activities on Personal Health BG’s Project & Loss and Balance Sheet.
  • Coordinating reporting and analytics within the team and across all parties providing information to the team.  Identifies and implements opportunities for improving efficiency and effectiveness of our reporting and analytics.
  • Analyses and reports on business performance during monthly & quarterly financial reporting cycles.
  • Perform forward-looking ad-hoc analysis, such as project & strategy evaluation, benchmarking, price/volume mix, scenario analysis, etc. 
  • Participates in various cross Business Finance improvement projects.  Actively contributes to realizing process improvements.
  • Provide guidance to financial and non-financial stakeholders on FP&A related matters and provide training on new reports, analytics, reporting/ planning instructions, tools, changes, etc.

You as FP&A Analyst will be part of team of Analysts within PPA CoE, reporting into FP&A Personal Health Team Lead. You will be working closely with the BG Leadership team and with all CoE across Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Chennai, and be an integral part of the BG Finance team alongside the Finance Business Partners.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • Currently studying towards your Bachelor/Master degree in: Finance, Accounting or Business Economics
  • Intellectual capacity to digest complex information, see trends & analysis through data.
  • Advanced technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint is a pre
  • Delivers meaningful, accurate and timely reporting, analysis and planning support for senior analysts, managers and FP&A stakeholders.
  • Curious mind-set, coupled with excellent communication skills.
  • Works efficiently & with eye for detail; high quality standards.
  • Self-starter, can work autonomously and sets her/his own agenda.
  • Fluent in oral and written English
  • Takes pro-active ownership and accountability for independent analytical work or process coordination and improvement.
