Internship: Procurement Management Philips group Innovations and Emerging Business
Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to enable the Procurement Engineering team of Innovation & Emerging Businesses to efficiently and effectively manage performance and gain 1st hand experience in supplier management and practice stakeholder management.
You are responsible for
- Make GAP analyses and prepare a plan to leverage global tools for operational performance reporting
- Support implementation of new way of working
- Supply Base Overview management
Highly engaged and motivated Procurement team, active in Research and innovative businesses, driving Supply Risk Management at a very early stage. Diverse business environment that requires good cross-functional and integral process insights. You will be working at our High Tech Campus location in Eindhoven.
- Studying towards your Bachelor/Master degree in a Procurement and/or Business Management background. ( Business Administration, Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain Management or Production Engineering (Mechanical Engineering)
- Fluent in oral and written English
- Affinity with processes & tools
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and in particular EXCEL
- Innovative and continuous improvement mindset
- Basic technical understanding
- Self-supporting, networking capabilities
- Steep learning curve of Philips Procurement processes.
- Improvement of communication skills, project management and stakeholder management.
- Real business experience.
We are looking for students that are able to start as soon as possible and are available at least for 5-6 months. Depending on the subject this assignment is suitable to perform your thesis.
