Under the umbrella of Royal Philips, Philips Finance manages and performs transactional finance activities for the company
You are responsible for
- Quality of Intercompany master data;
- Supporting the rollouts new systems like the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) tool, SAMBA etc.;
- Review, update and create Work instructions within the Purchase to Pay intercompany domain;
- Daily monitoring / reporting of intercompany process with internal and external stakeholders;
- Support in various process improvement actions within Purchase to Pay;
The Global Accounting Operations department based in Eindhoven. You will be working in a team of about 10 FTE and your stakeholders are Accounting Controllers, Business Partners and Purchase to Pay specialists.
- Currently studying towards your Bachelor/Master degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
- Interested in working in an international environment in the Financial area;
- Strong analytical skills, high level of accuracy
- MS office applications skills (Outlook, Excel)
- problem-solving and result-oriented approach
- engaged, motivated, ambitious, eager to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
- working well individually as well as a part of a team
- very good command of English
The opportunity to run a 6 months internship, no thesis possible, in our Purchase to Pay Team, building your purchasing career in an international company which brings innovations that matter, intensive learning on the job through real experience that will allow you to accelerate your growth fast-paced oriented work in truly global environment. However, we do prefer students that are able to extend this to a maximum of 12 months.
We like you to start as soon as possible, but no later than August or September 2018.
