Job Description

Start date: We are looking for students able to start as soon as possible, but no later than August or September 2019.

Duration: 5-6 months

This internship assignment is open to discuss your options to combine with your graduation/thesis.

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Engage in driving sales for Philips personal health products in the Benelux.

You are responsible for

  • Day to day account management;
  • New business development;
  • Analysis of account performance with proposal for improvements for more effective account management;
  • Product group-Retail match analysis and recommendation;
  • Creating customer proposals;
  • Your personal development plan, which will be evaluated monthly.

You are a part of

You will be part of a young and ambitious team that works in the Sales Department of Philips Benelux Personal Health.  You will report to the Lead Key Account Manager New Channels who reports to the Sales Director. Our team has a strong can do mentality where we work hard/play hard. If we are not out visiting our customers, we like to join our forces in the office, 2/3 days per week in Eindhoven once per week in Amsterdam. We thrive in the buzz that we create together in the office and we expect you to be there to join us.

You will be based at our Benelux office in Eindhoven, but occasionally also work at our Head Office in Amsterdam.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently studying towards your Bachelor/Masters (both Applied Science as University can apply) in Business studies (i.e. International Business Administration) and/or Economics;
  • Strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, team player, ambitious;
  • Good excel and PowerPoint skills;
  • Fluent in oral and written Dutch and English
