In this role, you have the opportunity to

Participate as a junior resource in a very strategic and global program of Philips to transform and become a trusted solutions partner driving quality of care and productivity for our customers.

You are responsible for

As a junior resource you will support the Solutions Program Manager with:

  • Program Management Support: a set of weekly, quarterly and annual responsibilities. Coordinate and prepare monthly updates, steering cie meetings, prepare Executive Committee presentations
  • Being right-hand of the overall Solutions program manager supporting her with special assignments
  • Support with the organization and coordination of program events.
  • Follow-up of activities and progress
  • The role is ultimately, what you make of it!
You are a part of

The Solutions Transformation team based in the head office of Royal Philips in Amsterdam. You will be part of a team of 8 people.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • A student in the final approach to become a Master in Science in Business Administration or Economics, with an interest in  strategic transformational projects
  • High creative profile, being able to draft and detail out, based on incomplete information. ‘Think out-of-the-box’ mindset.
  • Fast learner, self-starting with High ability to draw contents together
  • Able to work independently and in a virtual team, with senior management/executive stakeholders
  • Analytical & strategic thinking, conceptually strong and able to translate it into specific actions
  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft office package
  • Previous experience in similar roles/internship will be considered as an advantage
In return, we offer you
  • Internship with final graduation. Depending on the topics you would like to add to the responsibilities, this internship assignment can be converted into a thesis internship assignment.
  • Duration: 6 months. We prefer students that can extend their availability to a maximum of 12 months.
  • Available 5 days per week if this will be a non-thesis assignment. There is some flexibility, in cooperation between you and the business when this assignment will be converted into a thesis.

 

We are looking for students able to start as soon as possible! The start date depends on how fast we are able to select students and the throughput time (standard 3 weeks) within our administration.
