In this role, you have to opportunity to:
Be part of the Personal Health Benelux organization and report to a Trade Shopper Marketing manager. You can make a difference by helping us to meet our sales and marketing goals by focusing on the shopper and how to drive conversion and increase basket size. You will gain insights in consumer decision journeys and discover how shopper marketing works on converting the shopper by focusing on key purchase barriers as well as key purchase drivers. (Online) marketing planning for all touchpoints will be known to you by the end of your internship. Analytics, bannering, POS materials, blogsposts, SEA and SEO; you will get to know how this all works in an optimal way.
You are responsible for
- Partnering with a Trade shopper marketer in order to drive traffic, awareness and conversion at our key retailers like Bol.com, Coolblue, MediaMarkt, Blokker etc.
- Analyzing previous actions, current sales and market situation, exploring opportunities and getting the basics right for online- and offline success. The insights you will get from these analyses, combined with shopper insights, will help us to grow the business.
- Create innovative activation plans for our products and customers
- Maintain the activation calendar per key customer
- Analyze and improve our shopper claims in retail
- Track activations on its presence and effectiveness (qualitative and quantitative)
- Prepare upcoming activations and online banner campaigns
- Analyze tailor made activations
The Trade Shopper Marketing team but also team up with other interns with marketing or sales assignments. The consumer decision journey will no longer be a theoretical model but become a guide within your future career. - Student currently studying towards Bachelor/Master (Applied Science and University) in one of the following fields: Marketing, Business Administration, Communication
- Professional/Native proficiency in English and Dutch (C1+)
- Experience/interest in Market Analyses
- Have a hands-on approach
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office (esp. PowerPoint and Excel)
- A 6 month internship starting as soon as possible
- A in depth insight in Trade Shopper Marketing, its key stakeholders as sales, product marketers, retail and shopper activation managers.
- Possibility to do your thesis if desired, with support from the team
- Location: Eindhoven
