Job Description

Are you the enthusiastic, talented intern we are looking for?

Philips procurement is undergoing a transformation to accelerate growth and improve performance. The communication team’s aim is to communicate this change internally and to the suppliers. For this important challenge, we are looking for an intern that can stand their ground and support the Communications team in any situations.

Your responsibilities

  • Help implement communications strategies

  • Assist in maintaining web content on SharePoint

  • Update databases

  • Facilitate effective internal communications

  • Participate in organizing the Global Supplier Day

  • Participate in organizing the Procurement Leadership Drive

Your team

You will be part of the Philips Procurement Communications team and work closely together with other members of the Procurement Governance team.  

Our offer
  • Non-thesis

  • Duration: 6 months

  • Available as soon as possible

  • Location: Eindhoven, The Netherlands

Internship conditions:
  • Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.

  • A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.

  • A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.

  • The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.

  • Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)

We are looking for

To be successful in this internship we are looking for:

Students currently studying towards your Bachelor or Master of science (Msc.) (Including Bachelor students enrolled at a University of Applied Sciences) specializing in:

  • Communications, Business Administrations or any related field

In addition, we are looking for someone with the following competences:

  • Excellent  command of both written and spoken English

  • Ability to manage and organize both your own work as well as projects

  • Able to work independently and with others

  • Creative and flexible

  • Good communications skills (verbal and writing)

  • Working knowledge of MS Office

  • Knowledge of MS SharePoint is an advantage
