Accelerate Business Transformation
Your challenge
Are you the enthusiastic, talented intern we’re looking for?
Philips has embarked on an overall business transformation called Accelerate! The goal is to accelerate meaningful innovation, capture market share, improve our operational effectiveness, and drive global business leadership and success in local markets.
One part of the overall Accelerate! transformation is about simplifying our organization by increasing efficiency in our functions, thereby freeing up resources to reinvest in growth. This will create a faster and less complex organization with a best in class cost structure, delivering sustainable results, quarter over quarter, year over year. Equally important is the performance culture which goes hand in hand with the organizational design, characterized by empowered teams and employees who exactly know how their own targets relate to the overall company targets.
Your responsibilities
As member of the team your work varies from practical support to full accountability for driving change. You will be involved in different projects in the various domains such as productivity improvements, performance management and shared services. All projects fall under the umbrella of the Accelerate! Operating Model Team.
The Accelerate program was launched in 2011 by the new Philips CEO Frans van Houten, together with the Philips Executive Committee (ExCo), to transform Philips in ways that unlock its full performance potential. The Accelerate Business Transformation office works directly for the ExCo to ensure the planning, resourcing, and execution of Accelerate are successful. You will become part of the Operating Model Team of 10 people with a very diverse background, reporting to the global program manager.
We offer you a glance in the kitchen of a huge transformation program and the opportunity to contribute to its success. You will be working on truly cross-functional projects with lots of opportunity for creative ideas. We drive the steps on the ambitious transformation journey to world-class performance. Embark on this journey with us for a unique experience and the opportunity to add real value!
