Are you the enthusiastic, talented intern we’re looking for?
In this role, you’re responsible for supporting the Change Management and Communications team in the creation of the Design of the Portal and Intranet link. You would deliver an approach to social learning that will help the Academies and Content Development organization deliver learning using social technologies into our new Learning Management System (LMS).
Your responsibilities

The Philips University wants to connect all of our learning activities under one global umbrella. This means that the University will focus on the learning activities, increase the value of our resources, improve our productivity and efficiency and help us deliver relevant learning solutions for all of our employees.
· Preparation work of defining requirements for the Philips University Learning Management System (LMS) connection with the company Intranet
· Benchmarking other organizations on how LMS has been linked to company Intranet portals,
· Research and Socialize with Social Media Manager and Communication team on how communities of practice can be embedded in the Intranet Portal with the LMS
You will be part of the Change Management and Communications team work stream in the Philips University project team. This team is part of Corporate HR in Philips with 12 core members as well as bigger extended team with group of consultants. Main stakeholders are the HR community, Leadership Talent and Learning partners, Academies and Business.

•This is a non-thesis assignment
•Duration: 3 – 6 months
•We prefer students able to start as soon as possible, not later than September 2014
Internship conditions:
· Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.
· A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.
· A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.
· The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.
· Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)
To be successful in this internship we are looking for you:
· Currently studying towards your Bachelor HBO (BICT) / Bachelor of Science/Master of science WO (Bsc./Msc.) in:
o The field of <IT or Social Media>
o Business Informatics
o ICT
o Engineering Software

•You are a team player, able to and hands-on assistance and guidance
