Your challenge

Are you the enthusiastic, talented intern we’re looking for?
You will get the opportunity to participate in a big scale Human Resources (HR) IT project, which is launching a modern, intuitive self-service HR system and introducing improved ways of managing human resources. You will be challenged/involved in various activities related to leveraging the HR processes and innovative technology solutions, with the aim of empowering employees, managers and HR professionals to organize, staff, develop, reward and manage the workforce effectively.

Your responsibilities

Your main activities will be related to: 
· Supporting the review of existing HR processes and seeking the opportunities to improve processes where necessary
· Creating, documenting, and managing the process workflow models
· Analyzing workflows to identify opportunity areas and seek possible solutions for achieving increased productivity and efficiency
· Advocating the use of standard approaches to process design
· Arranging meetings & appointments and managing stakeholder engagement

Your deliverables and performance expectations will be:
 
· Reporting and data synthesis
· On-time and accurate documentation of changes to processes

Your team

In your role you will be working in a multidisciplinary project team, part of the HR Digital department, and will have the opportunity to interact directly with Philips employees from all over the world. You will also be directly related to various HR Subject Matter Experts and an external consulting firm. You will be based in Eindhoven.

Our offer

We offer an internship within a large-scope project, in a multinational company with a high performance working environment. In this role you will get a chance to develop your project skills, stakeholder management competency and your HR knowledge.
· This Internship is not suitable to perform your graduation/thesis·         Duration: 6 months
· We prefer students able to start as soon as possible, not later than September/October 2014

Internship conditions:

1. Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.
2. A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.
3. A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.
4. The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.
5. Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)

We are looking for

To be successful in this internship we are looking for you:
· Currently studying towards your Bachelor HBO (BBA) / University Bachelor/Master of science WO (Bsc./Msc.) in:
o Business Administration
o Human Resources
o Management Sciences

· Diligent with attention to detail
· Having great analytical skills
· Accountable and accurate
· A hands-on mentality
· Fluent in oral and written English
· Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
· Being pro-active and able to work under own initiative
