to credit information on 100 million companies worldwide. Its products help protect companies
throughout the world from payment risks associated with selling products and services on credit.
Strategy and Corporate Development
Strategy and Corporate Development is responsible for:
• Strategic Planning Support
• Competitor and Market Analyses
• Internal Initiatives (e.g. strategy update, revenue growth or cost saving initiatives, etc.)
• External growth, Merger & Acquisition activities and Strategic Alliances
The key role of a trainee would be to support Strategy and Corporate Development Managers to
prepare reports, analyses and formal presentations on Strategy, Competition and various markets
by:
• Information gathering from different sources (internal sources, websites, press releases,
local Atradius contacts in different countries, etc.);
• Helping for strategy projects in different stages or areas;
• Carrying out internal market and competition surveys;
• Summarising findings and carrying out analyses based on available information.
In addition, Strategy and Corporate Development has several projects running in parallel to each
other in different areas and trainee’s help may be needed time to time in those projects.
• Familiarity with Strategic aspects that are high in the agenda of most companies;
• Learn how market and competition analyses can be carried out and key results can be
drawn;
• Working in a very international company and unit which will enable trainee to gain
experience on cultural differences and how to deal with that;
• Quickest route to get knowledge in credit insurance market and via one of world’s largest
credit insurance company.
• Fluent in English is a must. French native speakers with fluent English will be a
consideration point;
• Preferably having work permit for working in European Union countries;
• Analytical person who has interest for research and analyses type work;
• Currently studying or last year student from Business Administration, Economics or
Finance (minimum HBO level although university level is preferred);
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet;
• Other: enthusiastic, self-motivated, interest for international environment and topics, good
communication skills.
