There are different ways of how to communicate to a broader community; the task for you will be to investigate and to use the different communication channels in an efficient and smart manner. Collect information to update the central websites will be part of your responsibilities.
Your responsibilities

You will be based in Eindhoven whereas one day a week in Amsterdam will be an option. The P&S team exists of 30 people whereas 6 are based in the regions globally. The P&S team has different team structures of which the Support Office is one.
The Support Office exists of three people who maintain and drive the operating model, better known as the Stage Gate Process. Strategy for example is one of the big pillars of the operating model and is the stage where Strategic Communications is part of. Therefore you will be guided by the Support Office within the P&S team.
The scope will be the communications around the Process & Systems team within Procurement as well as the communication from the team towards the broader community within Procurement and other key stakeholders in other sectors.
For a communication student it is interesting to set-up a clear communication plan for a big global organization as Philips. Within a global organization things are not as straightforward as they seem, whereas a lot of interdependencies between different departments and sectors need to be taking into consideration.
