What is the job about?
To accomplish the goal of “Creating WOW through Innovation” the Innovinity Workgroup has been established within IT International to generate and stimulate the creation and implementation of innovative ideas. The Innovinity Workgroup kicked off with an Innovation Contest in Q2 2014 of which the theme was Sustainability. The contest was a nice catalyst for creative thinking which led to 82 innovative ideas. The winning innovation: Collective Green Power for ABN AMRO employees by Wessel Egas (to provide budget per employee for the establishment of a "green living situation” through the HR Benefit Shop) has been incorporated in the overall proposals regarding spending the “Other” budget through the HR Benefit Shop and is thus taken into consideration.
The next contest which will be organised in Q2 2015 focuses on the theme “Efficiency”. Your assignment will be to organise this contest for the IT International domain, to support in creating the challenges (which will be defined by our two large programmes Programme ONE and Digital Ambition) and facilitate the process of generating innovative ideas. You will set parameters for the reviewing submitted ideas, and you will actively involve the MT IT International in this process. Finally you will support (after down selection of the winning ideas) in prototyping and experimentation in which the Innovation Centre also will be involved.
Besides, you will actively be involved in the Innovinity Workgroup meetings, workshops, knowledge sharing sessions etc. to support the IT International domain in achieving its goal to become more innovative.
This assignment consists of the following main tasks:
1. Organise Efficiency Contest (logistic and content wise);
2. Actively participate in the Innovinity Workgroup by joining and organising meetings, workshops, knowledge sharing sessions etc.
You will gain (in a fast track) more experience in:
• Tools, e.g. Excel / Power Point / MS Project
• Management Consultancy (Organisational and communication skills)
• Working in our International Community
• Participating in the Innovinity Workgroup
• Networking by e.g. attending monthly drinks, brown bag sessions, sport events and InnovinitY work group.

IT International is a global community with a central team in the Netherlands and local teams in various countries.
From this central team we deliver our services via two domains: Core Banking and Channels. These domains are supported in their activities by project managers and PMO from the Project Management department, management consultants and staff from the IT International Office. While an integrated part of TOPS IT we face international challenges and complexities that require a specific approach. From an international perspective the TOPS activities and organizations are very much interwoven.
