For our Group Finance team we are looking for a: Financial Controlling Intern.
Description
As Financial Controlling intern you will be supporting the Group Marketing Controller.
You will be giving support by processing internal market and sales data, and making it
comprehensible for the Group Marketing Controller, the Group Finance department and
the Group Marketing department.
The intern will also be working on a large scale Masterdata project currently running
within Perfetti Van Melle. This data is needed to provide insights into the business, from
cost prices to sales volume of our SKU’s. The processing of this information will form the basis for the strategical choices made by Perfetti Van Melle.
This Financial Controlling internship is a special opportunity for an eager student to add
value to a large scale project and gain knowledge and insights on the relationship
between information through data and business strategy. At the same time you will gain
insight into the responsibility of a Controller and a first experience in working with KPI’s
that truly impact the business.
A third year HBO student in the field of business economics or finance with an interest in Business Controlling. Ideal candidates are analytical and have great attention to detail. Furthermore, it is important that her/she is able to work well with different types of software and has a basis in MS Excel and Powerpoint. Candidates must be comfortable around Senior Management and speak English fluently. An international mind set is also required as her/she will be liaising with the various finance departments all over the world. Starting date is August or September and the internship will last for about 6 months.
