Job description
Robotics is changing almost every aspect of our society. From heavy industry to healthcare, robots are used to perform activities once done by humans. Also in the utility industry robots are being used for a variety of tasks ranging from inspection to repairs.
The robotic revolution will also change the way that consultancy companies will serve their clients. Projects will be more focused on obtaining the benefits that robots can realize to become a safer and more cost efficient organization.
We are looking for an intern to investigate trends in robotics, specifically in utilities and determine how our software implementations will be impacted. This is focused on the year 2022, around the following themes:

Fieldworker 2.0: How will the fieldworker be supported by robotic technology to improve the quality and efficiency of work.

Grid Monitoring: How can robots help in monitoring the Grid and performing repairs or improvements.

Opportunities for Grid companies: What other opportunities could Grid companies anticipate on, using the robotic technologies.
The intern will work with different stakeholders within and outside of Accenture to obtain the required information.
Place in the organization
Accenture is one of the world's largest independent providers of technology services. Our Technology professionals lead and implement highly complex technology projects. Working with clients, they design, develop and deliver a wide range of challenging and global IT projects. These professionals may build, test, install and maintain software across a variety of projects and industries working with leading enterprise applications such as SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft and Oracle or with custom- built applications the field of Analytics, Mobile, Cloud / SaaS and Digital.
We are looking for enthusiastic students with IT affinity. We ask the following:

You are interested to work with and investigate Robotics developments;

You are able to work independently (with remote guidance);

You are fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written;

You have a pro-active attitude.
