Job description
Accenture entered a partnership with a student robotics team to develop a team of soccer robots for the Robot Soccer World Cup the goal of which is to promote robotics and AI research, by offering a publicly appealing, but formidable challenge. Accenture will support this endeavor by supporting the team with its advanced data analytics capabilities.
The student will work on this project to help mine and interpret the data that is generated by these robots during the world cup. The goal is to lay the groundwork for analysis of the soccer robots’ performance. Defining the KPIs to be measured in each match, the type of information required from the logs and the infrastructure setup needed to efficiently acquire and store this information is part of the internship. The student will have access to a real robot team and hence can implement the data mining solutions.

Basic qualifications
Are you the perfect candidate?
We are looking for motivated students who would like to perform in a team to show their skills in information systems design and data mining. Part of the data will be delivered, but other parts will have to be mined from either video or logs of the robots themselves. Experience with data mining is preferred.
