Internship E-commerce Performance Intelligence 2.0
Job description
E-commerce is a continuously evolving market space. Every day, millions of products and services are bought online. Over the past few years, new competitors have risen to become market leaders, while others have vanished due to a lack of customers. To stay on top, business leaders need insights on the performance of their e-commerce platforms.
Our solution is a dashboard that provides these insights. The dashboard offers data visualizations to show the status of several KPIs and get the viewer up-to-speed on sales performance.
This solution has been built as a Proof of Concept existing of a dimensional data model, MySQL database, and Tableau dashboard. Your job is to evolve the existing solution into a mature generic solution that is ready to be implemented at Accenture clients.
Following activities will be part of the internship:
- Researching the E-commerce market
- Analyzing the existing solution
- Writing an advisory report on how the existing solution should be improved
- Creating ETL to fill data model based on market-standard E-commerce platform(s)
- Modifying the solution to be able to select time ranges
- Adding interactivity to the Tableau report
- Further fine tuning & prettifying the Tableau report
- Giving a presentation on the final solution to Accenture e-commerce experts

- You are in the final year of your HBO or WO; preferably in IT or business IT
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills
- Excellent in both Dutch and English languages
- You are able to work independent
- You are eager to learn and are ambitious
- You are able to solve complex issues of all sorts
