MAIN JOB PURPOSE

The Consumer Marketing Insights function’s mission is to show the business how and where to win, inspiring and provoking transformational actions.

The role of the CMI team (Consumer and Market Insights) is to contribute to delivering our mission by business partnering marketing teams. CMI is responsible for delivering foresights and insights to the business.

One of the approaches to increase our understanding of markets and consumers is by using market and consumer panel data and turning these data into actionable insights which help to grow our business.

To support the Laundry Europe CMI team with market and consumer analyses and reporting to the business, we are looking for an enthusiastic intern with a passion for numbers and data.

 Your location will be Rotterdam, the Netherlands, but you will work for the European category team, covering a wide range of European countries.

JOB SUMMARY

You will be responsible for supporting CMI on various ad hoc projects and monthly business reporting with the focus on creating valuable insights for the business by analyzing markets, companies, products, brands and consumers using market and consumer panel data.

 You will further support the CMI managers in the laundry category in their day-to-day work, so you will get to see the varied activities of a CMI job.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • You are in the finalizing phase of your study, doing a master in (business) economics or marketing. A master in market research is a pre, but not required
  • Essential is your ability to quickly understand and assess numbers and data.
  • You have experience with market research during your studies, including analyzing data and turning these into clear conclusions and recommendations
  • You are highly experienced in working with Excel
  • You are creative, enthusiastic and have good communication skills. You are fluent in English.
  • ·You are available for a practical internship for 6 months.  Start date is half October 2017.
