Internship: Global Marketing Intelligence internship (Non Thesis)

In this role, you have to opportunity to
Support the Marketing Intelligence (MI) team on various tasks with a global scale. As a MI intern, you will support the team in analyzing and understanding market and consumer data, and translating them into actionable strategic recommendations to the business.
You are responsible for
- Building market share data tracking and analysis, translating it to real insights for senior global leaders within all DA categories;
- Supporting Strategy review sessions with data insights;
- Guiding stakeholders through the right usage of data;
- Providing business with trends that may disrupt the market in short, mid and long term;
- Pricing / marketing mix analysis to optimize the business portfolio;
- Keeping track of competition to support faster reaction.
You are a part of
The Marketing Intelligence (MI) Team in Domestic Appliances supports the business in sharpening marketing and commercial strategies by providing in-depth market and consumer understanding. With core responsibilities that range from market performance analysis, competitive intelligence, market assessment as well as consumer insights, the team holds a strategic position within the Business Group Domestic Appliances (DA).
With a global scope, the team works mainly for the marketing managers in the DA categories: Kitchen Appliances, Garment Care, Floor Care. Other important stakeholders encompass multiple internal functions, including Shopper Marketing, Digital Marketing, Finance as well as external parties such as market research agencies and various data suppliers.
The team consists of the Head of Marketing Intelligence, 4 consumer intelligence managers and 2 market analysis managers, and it is currently looking for a full time intern.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Currently studying towards your Master WO (Msc.) Type of degree preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Innovation Management
- Strong communication and synthesis skills (solid presentation skills)
- Passionate about marketing and marketing analytics
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Team player, eager to learn and develop professionally
- Previous market intelligence experience is a plus
- Fluent in English

You will be involved in a variety of tasks ranging from monthly reporting to strategic deep dives, under supervision of the marketing intelligence manager. The internship will be full-time dedicated to the support of the running projects.
