Role Description – CodeMasters

Do you believe coding is an invaluable skill in the 21st century? Do you want to experience what it means to work at a large consultancy firm and team up with experienced consultants?
 
Accenture has the ambition to define coding (or programming) as a skill to succeed for the next generation. A virtual community (CodeMasters) connects over 150 colleagues that share this passion and enable them to pass on their coding skills. The number of applications is rising and ambitions are high. 
 
For this internship we are looking for an organizational talent to help manage the CodeMasters community and engage clients and partners in this area. The role concerns the following activities: 
  • Community key figure role (engagement, expansion)
  • Communication responsibility: newsflashes, social media
  • Managing the process of matching trainers to student groups
  • Setting up framework for trainings, train-the-trainer sessions, and community events
  • Benefits tracking
  • Initiating awesome events like the Hour of Code world record, a refugee student python course, etc.

Place in the organization

In this role you will be managing the CodeMasters community, part of the Corporate Citizenship Program.

Role Description – Innovation Team
Accenture is becoming more and more innovation driven and will be working for 50 percent in the New! As part of the Accenture Innovation Team you will be working on a wide variety of projects in this area. Your tasks will range from working on proposals for clients and collaboration with startups to the organization of events, workshops and client meetings. 
 
We are looking for someone who is passionate about innovation and can combine a variety of skills into a multi-faceted function. The role concerns the following activities:
  • Help shape innovative offerings and proposals
  • Scouting for startups and scale ups 
  • Build an innovation network within Accenture
  • Organize events, workshops and more

In this role, you will be at the heart of Accenture’s innovation team. 
Are you the perfect candidate?
We are looking for the following:
  • You are a Master student, in the final year of your graduation from university, preferably a specialization in the areas of technology or business;
  • You have a passion or enthusiasm for innovation;
  • You have affinity with the future of education and the development of digital skills;
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills;  
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English;  
  • You can work independently;
  • High level of motivation and drive;
  • Eagerness to learn.

Accenture offers a full-time internship for six months with an option to write your thesis. You can leverage all experience and knowledge of Accenture.
