In this role, you have the opportunity to

As part of the transformation journey of Philips, you will join the team of one of the new global programs. Your challenge is to create and execute a social media strategy for effective employee engagement and communication

You are responsible for

  • Find and implement innovative ways for effective communication strategies
  • Play an important role in content creation for digital channels and social media
  • Reinforce our culture and values
  • Support the development and implementation of communication and change management plans
You are a part of

You will work in close collaboration with the Change and Communication Director of the program, the Head of the program and other team members. You are closely linked to the Communications community in Philips and you will work at our head office in Amsterdam.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • You are currently studying towards you Bachelor/Master degree in: Business Administration, (International) Business Management, Marketing or Media and Communication
  • Can-do attitude with a positive, creative and curious mindset
  • Experience managing digital channels and social media
  • Fluent in oral and written English
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Passion about following new trends for social media engagement
  • Ability to analyze data and draw relevant insights to build digital media strategies
  • Ability to work independently, while being a team player at heart
  • Sound judgment and attention to detail while creating compelling content
  • Cultural awareness affinity to work in a global team

  • This internship is not suitable for thesis
  • Duration: 6 months. We do prefer students able to extend this with 3-6 months.
  • We prefer students able to start as soon as possible, not later than Jan-Feb 2018!
