Job Description
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Impact the portfolio of this business, by analyzing one of its future propositions and recommending a strategic way forward.
Developing a business case consisting of the following:
• Conducting market research
• Mapping competitor offerings, their strengths and weaknesses
• Giving recommendations to develop/adjust the offering based on your findings
• Developing a marketing strategy
• Developing the customer value model
• Recommending a go/ no-go for this intended offering based on your business plan.
Healthcare Experience Solutions, which is a business that focusses on improving the experiences of patients, their caregivers/ family and staff in hospitals worldwide. Healthcare Experience Solution is part of Healthcare Transformation Services: Philips’ consultancy business.
• Currently studying towards your Master degree in Management Sciences; Business Studies; Business Administration or any other business related studies where you learned about value propositions
• Good understanding of business models
• Basic understanding of business in healthcare is preferred
• Interested in researching and finding out information
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to communicate at all levels with internal/external stakeholders by phone, email and face to face
• Able and willing to question to enhance understanding
• Problem solver
• Proactive and autonomous
The ability to work in a global team, on a project with a big business impact. You will gain experience in a broad range of business processes and you will be exposed to experts across the company. You will have autonomy and responsibility, but under the supervision of a supporting team, which will be there to help you, but also to make sure that you have fun while learning. Students from outside the EU need to fill in an NUFFIC agreement, which needs to be signed by the student and the university.
