Internship: Finance & Accounting Drachten Operations (Suitable for Thesis)

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Contribute to bringing the factories to the next level in Lean. You will be exposed to high profile stakeholders within Philips

You are responsible for

Assisting members of the local Finance team in Drachten and the global Finance team in Amsterdam with a diverse range of tasks from standardized monthly result analysis to a wide range of complex cases like investment decisions and long term strategic planning.

You are a part of

The current team comprises of 5 local members, combined with colleagues from corporate departments. The team analyzes complex financial challenges for key decision makers within Royal Philips (local and on Corporate level) and works together with our stakeholders in Finance, Operations, Strategy.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • Currently studying towards your University Msc. degree in: Business Economics or Finance
  • Passion for Finance, especially in relation to Technic
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong communicator in balance in discussions with stakeholders
  • Fluent in oral and written English
In return, we offer you

The internship will be used to get familiar with the projects and processes in the team. Potentially and in cooperation with other departments within Royal Philips. Depending on the combination with a thesis assignment, we are looking for an intern for 6 months, available on short notice. We would like you to start per February 2018. A successful internship could translate into a job offer.
