As an intern, you will work with the Procurement Governance team and will work directly with colleagues and managers in Procurement as well as in the businesses. You are responsible for
- Analysis of the current state of the Vendor Management Process including all involved third party systems
- Design and conception of a uniform Supplier Lifecycle Process in consideration of the involved cross functions
- Communication of the requirements to internal and external IT service providers to implementation in a user-friendly cloud-based tool
- Test and release of programmed developments
- Rollout of the new process to the global purchasing organization and cross functions
You will be part of the Project Team of Supplier Lifecycle Management. This team exists of multiple interns and experts. You will be located at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.
Students currently studying towards your Bachelor of Sciences (B.Sc.) or Master of Sciences (M.Sc.) specializing in:
- Business informatics
- Education or experience in (Open) Innovation Management and/or Procurement (strategy, supplier negotiation and selection, supplier collaboration) is a plus.
In addition, we are looking for someone with the following competences:
- Strong innovative mindset, with capability of looking beyond the application as such;
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills combined with a strong business sense and a drive for business impact;
- Ability to manage and organize both your own work as well as projects and senior executives meetings;
- An open and globally oriented work mentality, combined with a true self-starting character which will contribute to the overall team;
- Solid spoken and written English skills;
- Good communication skills (verbal and writing);
- Strong self-drive;
