In this role, you have the opportunity to

Support the Research and Development team working on a disruptive technology for Patient Monitoring with investigation of Marketing & Business Development aspects and to drive new business potential analysis of this technology across the Continuum of Care.

You are responsible for

  • Main tasks: Business opportunity estimation, business casing for a highly innovative technology in professional Healthcare space.
  • Analyze available industry reports and key HealthCare trends, summarize and create Exec summaries
  • Develop the detailed plan and execute on it for internal Marketing communication, issue recommendations to Management based on the insights generated
  • Support external communication efforts and generic Project Management Office activities
You are a part of

A large R&D multidisciplinary and product oriented team at Philips Research Eindhoven, working in a close collaboration with other R&D teams from Germany and USA, as well as with major Hospitals in Europe and USA.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • Studying towards your Bachelor in Sciences or Master in Sciences studies in Business Administration, focused on Marketing, Business Development, Strategic Management or Marketing Communication
  • Highly motivated intern for Marketing/Business development related tasks in a highly innovative, potentially disruptive innovation track.
  • Clinical education is strongly recommended and a big plus (Nursing, paramedic or medical education)
  • Fluent in English, good German language skills optional
  • Ability to work independently, high degree of self-motivation and creativeness
  • Profound user Microsoft Office knowledge required (PowerPoint, Excel)
