Job description
This internship requires candidate to be available 40 hours per week starting ASAP for at lest 6 months.
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Support the team in driving and delivering key projects, in the areas of talent management, leadership development and organization effectiveness. Furthermore, you will gain insights in how we at Philips drive change in shaping the Workforce of the Future and support our employees in owning and driving their careers within our organization. It is possible to combine this
You are responsible for
- Preparing strong dialogues on talent management progress, by providing insight through data and analytics, preparing presentations and key support materials for HR and Managers
- Ensuring full communication on ongoing processes and projects within the team and to the stakeholders, by ensuring our HR Portal is relevant and up to date in talent & organization topics.
- On a project basis, and depending the priorities of the team at that time, supporting projects such as Talent Review, Strategic Workforce Planning, Diversity, Leadership Pipeline, Team Effectiveness, Careers etc.
- Providing support to team structure by organizing team meetings, capturing minutes and following up on key actions.
You are a part of
An innovative, agile and recently founded team, which is a Center of Expertise within Human Resources, called Leadership, Talent & Organization Effectiveness. Our team is responsible for ensuring strong leadership pipelines and development within Philips as well as for creating and implementing global talent practices, programs and benchmarks as well as topics such as team effectiveness, performance and culture.
You will be located at our Head Office in Amsterdam.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Currently studying towards a Bachelor or Master’s degree, or finalizing a bachelor, in human resources, , (International) Business Management, psychology or related topics
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills. You are interested in and can deliver content for social media.
- Experience and ability to analyze and synthesize data
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office (esp. PowerPoint and Excel)
- Be pro-active, be able to work independently and have good interpersonal skills.
- Some experience with managing projects or programs and are able to support multiple initiatives simultaneously and handle deadlines
