Flow Traders is looking for an analytical and proactive Risk Intern who is ready for a challenge! During 12 weeks you will be part of our Risk Management Department. This is an amazing opportunity to experience being in a fast-paced Trading environment. This Risk Internship is focused on education, Risk Management experience and adding value. Since we do not expect you to have a financial background, you will join great onboarding lectures to learn more about the financial products that we trade and how we minimize our risks. During your internship, you will add value by working closely together with our Risk Manager on exciting projects that will have a direct impact on our business.

- Currently studying a Master’s degree in Econometrics, Finance, or a more quantitative background;
- Basic knowledge of financial products and markets and affinity with Trading;
- Affinity with Excel, experience with programming language such as VBA, C# is an advantage;
- Ability to work independently and responsibly, though within company policies and guiding principles;
- Proven analytical skills and the ability to assess complex situations quickly without being affected by (time) pressure;
- A proactive and flexible personality, eager approach to learning new information and processes quickly.
This internship is available for students living in Europe.

- A mental math test. You can practice the mental math test by participating in our mathchallenge.nl.
- A phone interview with a Recruiter. During this interview, you will answer questions about our core business and your motivation to join Flow Traders as a Risk intern.
- A video interview with two Risk Managers.
- You will be invited for Face-to-face for an Excel test and interviews with the Risk Department at our Amsterdam office.
