In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be part of an highly visible project with a global scope within Philips Health Systems. The program will drive End-to-End process optimization reducing waste in the process applying lean philosophy and tools.

You are responsible for

  • Act as program Back-office for the program team, consisting of 5 colleagues (program management)
  • Giving support on data analyses
  • Build and support on report out to top management of Philips
  • Act as a ‘challenger’ within the team when requested
  • Support on overall program management planning consolidating all project plans  
  • Assignment is for minimal 6 months and should serve both student as well as the ICS program

You are a part of

The Integrated Customer Support program is making Philips’ back-office structure more agile and customer oriented. The program will drive End-to-End process (Market-to-Order, Order-to-Cash, Service, Finance) optimization reducing waste in the process applying lean philosophy and tools. One key driver is simplification and standardization of processes and tools. We also focus on ‘First time right’ within the supply chain domain and digitization of the go to-market models. The program has a global scope of Health Systems, serving the Business Groups and our 17 Market Groups.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Be a final year BSc or MSc student in the domains of Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent
  • Very strong communication skills as you will interact with senior level management
  • Outgoing, self-propelling and self-initiating; we need someone with a high level of autonomy and ‘knowing enough with 3 words’
  • Very strong and fast in analytics and reporting (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A team worker who can deal with high level of ambiguity, balancing between long term strategy and today’s urgent deliverables
  • Loving a high level of dynamics. In general a high level of flexibility is required in this program and adaptive behavior is a prerequisite for success
  • Fluent in English
