Increasingly IT organizations use Agile or DevOps delivery methods and organization structures to deliver value quickly. Work is no more defined in projects but in User Stories, Epics and Value Streams. Value is less defined in project business cases and more in “points” that are defined relative to other work packages. And the task of prioritizing work is shifting from IT to product owners and tribe leads. Roles often filled by business. This affects the ability of IT leadership (CIO’s) to manage the IT portfolio and budget and demonstrate realized value. We are looking for intern(s) (preferably) starting immediately, for a period of 6 months and 40 hours a week. Are you the perfect candidate?
Your job
Your research will focus on exploring the new role of IT leadership in managing the portfolio, budget and value in a (scaled) Agile/DevOps IT environment. By researching the different methods currently used in organizations you explore patterns that prove successful. Together, we will develop a research question that suits you, your university and us.

- You are a Master student, in the final year of your graduation from university, preferably a specialization in the areas of technology, business or economics;
- You have affinity with (Scaled) Agile and Portfolio Management;
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English;
- High level of motivation and drive;
- You can work independently;
- Eagerness to learn.
