You can think of: Business Intelligence, Big Data, Internet of Things applications, Data science, Mobile apps and Data management. You will conduct a research and are going to work with real client cases. Put your expertise to work as part of the world’s largest independent technology services provider and lead the way as a trendsetter in your field.
We have several internship assignments in which you work with the latest and newest inventions and create a proof of concept that can be presented to our customers by our consultants. These assignments focus on both the investigation as well as the technical implementation
Your job
CHANGE MANAGEMENT
As an intern, you will investigate how Change Management can benefit from the integration of Data Management within the business. Because of the ever-growing importance of data within the business, Data Management will play a big role in leading companies to success. But most businesses are robust and are too big to implement sudden changes. Questions arise like: what exactly is going to change; how does it affect our personnel; will people accept the change, etc.
You will conduct a research that highlights the possibilities regarding the use of Change Management for successfully implementing Data Management. With the Data Management focus group attendants you will actively disseminate and discuss your findings. To help the focus group attendants with their own research you will share practical uses from your perspective that is based on the results of your research. Added to this you will create a prototype to make the results of your research more tangible and interactive. Lastly you will develop recommendations, models and training material for implementation with change management, benefiting data management.
DATA RETENTION
As an intern, you will investigate what organizations could encounter when handling Data Retention. Question which arise with this problem are:how long you need to store the data, where are you going to store it, is the storage location secure, why exactly do you need to keep data, how do organizations ensure regulatory compliance etc. You will get to explore the vast variety of solutions from, for example, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft and many more that support organizations engaged with Data Retention activities. You’ll get to provide recommendations which can be applied in future business practices.
You will research the current environment that organizations operate in related to Data Retention. Added to this you will develop a research report, models, recommendations, and training materials on Data Retention. Lastly you will participate in active discussions with the Data Management focus group to generate new insights.
DATA MINING
As an intern, you will investigate which boundaries data mining includes and look for different solutions regarding to the new technologies in combination with data mining. You will advise consultants with insights, which they could apply at real client cases. In a challenging market, the digital transformation of mining companies has become a business imperative – leveraging technology to improve processes aligned to increase value. Mining companies should shift their strategies and adopt new businesses and operating models faster than ever before. To seize the opportunity, miners are embracing digital tools and capabilities, including cloud-enabled mobility, big data-powered analytics, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT). But how do mining operations take advantage of these emerging technologies?
You will create new insights by analyzing and mining data which is focused on the communications area. With close collaboration with our Data Management focus group you are going to conduct research. Added to this, you will actively disseminate and discuss findings with them. Lastly you will develop recommendations, models and training material related to Data Mining

- Bachelor or Master student in Information, Change/Data Management or related studies
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Proactive, eager to learn and able to solve complex issues
- Think outside of the box to explore implementation of different concepts
- Available for 5-6 months
