INTERNSHIP - EVENT MANAGEMENT

The Blue Tulip Awards is a year-round program with multiple events that aims to connect innovators and to drive innovation together. This year-round program will ultimately culminate in the finals of the award-program. The Blue Tulip Awards team consists of a Central Team and 8 Theme Teams (divided in three waves). The Central Team Interns are responsible for program management, partnerships, event management and marketing & communications. The Theme Interns are responsible for defining the theme strategy and executing the theme specific tasks, such as innovation scouting and guiding the theme’s jury process. Together you will work towards one goal: the biggest innovation program of the Netherlands. Within the whole Blue Tulip Awards team, you are given the freedom to pursue a variety of projects.

Your Job

During your internship, you will gain and develop the abilities needed to fulfill the position of event manager of the Blue Tulip Awards program. Being in contact with different stakeholders will be the key to influence the communication and information processes. Your job responsibilities will be specifically connected to facilitation, planning, managing and executing the Blue Tulip Awards events. The following position comprises such aspects as concept development and hands-on experience of event organization. Tasks such as production preparations, programming, and leading a team will be a central facet of the internship. Also, you will receive a unique opportunity for all-round development as an independent professional by taking full responsibility for side events and other projects.

 

Marketing & Communication NL – Innovation Events & Campaign Manager

You will be responsible for all Innovation focused events that are organized by the Marketing & Communications NL department. You will be working on the reshaped Accenture Innovation Summit event, ready for new era of hybrid impact – called Forward /. You will be shaping, managing and facilitating one of the biggest innovation events in the Netherlands. Focus will lie on acquiring and deepening knowledge in various aspects of event organization: from production management to execution. You will be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in order to arrange an abundant variety of innovation-related activities. During this internship you will be working on all-round professional development, with emphasis on both applied and hard skills (responsibility, organizational management, negotiation, decision-making, collaboration).

 

Innovation Project Manager

This position will facilitate the development of practical skills, whilst stimulating your managerial mindset. You will be in contact with various stakeholders to ensure information and processes alignment. Within the Events Team, your job responsibilities will include planning meetings, compiling task overview, coordinating the team and keeping track of the overall structure. This position will largely contribute to boosting your organizational skills and strategic thinking. The central aspect of the internship will be designing, coordinating and optimizing internal processes. As well, you will learn to advance your abilities to ensure the successful organization of all innovation related events, such as the Blue Tulip Awards, Forward / and other campaigns, by implementing strategic steps. In the course of this internship, you will emerge into a confident individual with an ability to leverage your accomplishments.
