Made possible by you, as an Intern Organisation Testing, you play a central role in roll-out of the new distribution capabilities hanging the game of distribution between Air France-KLM and their travel agent partners. As a KLM employee, you contribute to unforgettable journeys. Regardless of where you work at KLM. 

What are you going to do?

You will work in a very dynamic and international team of 6 business analysts distributed over France and the Netherlands. The team is working closely with the IT team in Valbonne in the South of France and the Distribution business, based in Paris and Amstelveen, in an Agile way. Its mission is to change our current world of passenger airline distribution. The New Distribution Capability (NDC) project aims to create a new channel for indirect sales (travel agencies). NDC is an initiative launched by IATA followed by the main airlines in Europe. This project is for Air France-KLM and the whole distribution and travel community an important change based on a new technology that will enhance the capacity of communications between Air France-KLM and travel industry. For the team we look for an intern at HBO level working as functional application manager who will be responsible for the following activities in the team:

• Coordinating all necessary actions that are required for new markets to be rolled out

• Test system configurations related to new market rollouts.

• Following data processing progress towards downstream systems and take action on possible reported errors

• Analyze incidents that are related to market setup and/or downstream financial reporting.

• Maintaining existing working instructions and, where necessary, create new instructions. This to safeguard continuity.

You will be introduced to and accompanied during his assignment by a mentor.

Where do you land?

You will be part of the amazing team of Core Distribution and NDC (New Distribution Capabilities), located in Amstelveen. Furthermore, you will be traveling on regular base to our colleagues in Paris and Nice.

Your profile

First of all you, you strive to achieve the best quality and like to solve problems by making use of your hands-on mentality and agile mindset. You are eager to learn more about the airline distribution processes and innovations in an international and dynamic environment. Furthermore, you have good organization and planning skills. You also have good analytical skills and you are able to break down complex problems/issues into small pieces.

  • Follow IT studies which are closely linked to business management problems on HBO level
