Your job

Through this internship, you are helping to strengthen the Enterprise Architecture (EA) function within ABN AMRO. The internship has two lenses, one is about communicating the value of EA, another about having the function house in order (what does it take to become a good EA). This is open to students from e.g. Computer Science, Management of Technology or Organisational Studies, who want to learn more about Enterprise Architecture and its impact at the bank’s level.

Enterprise Architects steer strategy towards execution. They do so through development of artefacts describing the implications for the future (this is Architecture Development capability) and via Architecture Control - where they make sure that what is being built by the IT change organisation is following the architecture direction. They work together with a variety of stakeholders, from high-level management and strategic theme owners to Process & Data Owners and Domain Architects.

Enterprise Architecture sits within Change Management & Consultancy and enables Senior Management to make informed and data-driven decisions and develops sustainable architectures for business and IT dilemmas. Our team consists of Enterprise Architects and of Business Consultants supporting the EA area (e.g. Architecture Governance and Architecture Models&Insights)

Your profile

1. You are a HBO or WO bachelor/master student;

2. Your studies are related to Computer Science, Organisational studies, Management of Technology, Innovation Management;

3. Start date is flexible, preferably as soon as possible;

4. You are registered at a Dutch university for the whole duration of the internship.

5. You are available full-time for preferably 6 months.
