Description

Nowadays virtualization becomes more and more standard in ICT. It reduces costs while simultaneously increasing hardware utilization. Accenture NLDC works a lot with virtualization. Both on physical hardware as in Cloud solutions.

 

Oracle WebCenter is one of the applications that Accenture sets up in a virtual environment. Portals, web applications and enterprise content systems are set up with the use of WebCenter. To accelerate the creation of WebCenter VM, Accenture wants to have a standardised guide. In this guide the best practices and necessary process steps will be described. As an intern it is up to you to write this guide.

 

The task is to set up a virtual WebCenter machine in the Amazon Cloud. Besides delivering this environment, you will write a guide in which all the steps are described on the creation of this environment. Important in the set-up of this environment, is that it meets the requirements and standards which Accenture and Oracle set for such environments.

Internship objectives:

 

  • Building a WebCenter Oracle VM Amazon Cloud.
  • Make adjustments to WebCenter VM, so that it meets the requirements.
  • Writing a guide for downloading virtual WebCenter machine, actions for setting up the machine and required adjustments to be made.

The position falls within the Oracle cluster of Accenture Netherlands. This cluster consists of the following two areas: Technology and Applications.

  • You are in your final year of your HBO study, preferably a specialization in the areas of: business informatics;
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills;
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English;
  • You can work independently and are pro-active;
  • Communicative;
  • Eager to learn.
