Job description
There are more and more devices connected to the Internet, creating many data streams that contain both relevant and irrelevant data. Due to changing market conditions Big Data brings more risks, obstacles and pitfalls along with it. The increase in large-scale cloud infrastructures, diversity of data sources and formats, streaming data and inter-cloud migrations create unique security problems. During this internship you will research the best way to protect valuable data. How can a strong and successful Big Data strategy be achieved?
Research on the security of Big Data and Internet of Things:
- Make an inventory of internal and externally available IoT and Big Data technologies.
- Make an inventory of internal and externally available IoT and Big Data platforms.
- What preventive, detecting and administrative measures can be taken to secure the data itself?
- How can these measures best be implemented/taken?
- Determine how various technologies can be integrated into one platform.
- Work out a demonstration showing how valuable data can best be protected.

Working with clients, they design, develop and deliver a wide range of challenging and global IT projects. These professionals may build, test, install and maintain software across a variety of projects and industries working with leading enterprise applications such as SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft and Oracle or with custom- built applications in the field of Analytics, Mobile, Cloud / SaaS and Digital. The position falls within the Oracle cluster of Accenture Netherlands. This cluster consists of the following two areas: Technology and Applications.
- You are in your final year of your HBO study, preferably a specialization in the areas of: business informatics;
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills;
- You are fluent in Dutch and English;
- You can work independently and are pro-active;
- Communicative;
- Eager to learn.
