Product and Service Designer Internship

Job Description

We are looking for a Product and Service designer who will work with our design, lab and project teams to build useful and beautiful experiences that end user will love. 

This internship revolves around craftsmanship. You will solve wicked problems in a hybrid role between strategy, research, design and business.

On a daily basis you will be working in the MOBGEN:lab where you tasks will include:

• Discuss the latest and greatest within technology and design with you co-workers. 
• You create elegant and compelling designs. 
• Your colleagues see you as the walking encyclopedia of micro-interactions in use (on mobile, web, desktop, etc) and you are not afraid to share your knowledge on how to make these interactions even better. 
• Prototype multiple platform! You know how to be all kinds of quick and dirty, but dream of better prototyping tools.

Are you the perfect candidate?

• You are currently pursuing in a BA or MA in Interaction Design, Product Design or Graphic Design.
• You have working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Video editing, Axure and prototyping tools such as InVision, Pixate, proto.io also an advantage. 
• Understanding of UI design, grid systems, color, hierarchy and responsive design. 
• Have a natural skill to engage with people at a deeper level. Whether observing or interviewing customers or working with fellow team members and clients, a product and service designer should be passionate about representing the human perspective in design and should have skills in bringing this passion to life for the team.
• This internship would be a part of your study program.
