Stage - Data Migration Tools
 
Job description 
You are required to develop a Java based Migration Tool, that can migrate batch of data from one system to another. For eg: we may be required move the customers (about million) from one SQL database to another. Populate the LDAP trees from the values of SQL tables. We may be required to add a new column for the existing records in SQL database/LDAP and populate the values based certain criteria
 
You would also need to report the time taken to process each record, count of  customers/records migrated and failed etc.

Basic qualifcations

Are you the perfect candidate?  

  • Knowledge of Java
  • Knowledge of APIS/tools for string matching
  • Knowledge of Cryptography and Hashing algorithms
  • OpenLDAP and LDAP trees and hierachies
  • LDAP queries and APIS
  • Knowledge of file handling tools in Java
  • Knowledge of JSP 
  • Knowledge of reporting tools
