Your challenge

Are you the enthusiastic, talented intern we’re looking for?

For this internship assignment we are looking for a driven, hands-on and enthusiastic candidate to support the Global Events Team within the Philips Brand, Communications and Digital (BCD) department. We need someone who is passionate about events and has a flexible, marketing and customer oriented attitude.

With your background, diligent and enthusiastic mindset, you will contribute in achieving our ambition to offer the most successful experiential tradeshow customer experience.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Support the execution of corporate global events. Working closely with our event managers and supporting on all aspects of the event.
  • Communications and logistics support, including raising PO’s, approving invoices and liaising with suppliers.
  • On-site support during events, tradeshows and exhibitions.
  • Arrange the logistics, housing, bookings of meeting rooms or demo rooms of large corporate events.
  • Support post event analysis, lead system, internal and client feedback.

You will be part of the Global Events team within the Philips Brand, Communications and Digital (BCD) department.

 

Our offer

 

  • Duration: 6 months- Preferably 1 year
  • We prefer students available as soon as possible, but no later than June 2017

 

Internship conditions:

 

  • Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.
  • A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.
  • A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.
  • The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.
  • Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)

We are looking for

 

Students currently studying towards their Bachelor or Master of Science (Bsc./Msc.) in one of the following fields:

  • Marketing
  • Communications
  • Event Planning

Furthermore we require you to match the following criteria:

  • Language: exceptional English written and verbal skills
  • Competences: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Previous internship experience: No
