Your responsibilities
· You will support the team of information technology architects in defining the architectural design of the future information systems in Finance
· You will participate to the work of multidisciplinary team and support in drafting and documenting the design work using Philips tools for IT architecture design.
· The goal of the internship is to carefully and thoroughly document the future architecture of Finance Systems
· You will have produced at the end the internship period a number of documents as directed by senior expert in the Philips IT Architecture and Platforms team thoroughly describing the new Finance Systems for Philips worldwide.
· As a support role for information systems architects the intern shall work in the IT Architecture & Platform.
· You will work under the supervision of a Sector or a Platform Architect and interact with all relevant stakeholders (Program Manager, Business Process Owners, Head of Transformation, etc.)
· The current daunting task of radically transforming Philips Finance to achieve newer and unprecedented levels of excellence, can be a unique opportunity for a thesis in business informatics.
· Duration: 6 months
· We prefer students able to start October 2014
1. Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.
2. A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.
3. A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.
4. The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.
5. Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)
To be successful in this internship we are looking for you:
· Currently studying towards your Bachelor HBO (BBA) / Bachelor of Science/Master of science WO (Bsc./Msc.) in Business Administration or Business Informatics

· Fluent English mandatory another European Language a plus
· Basic understanding of Finance Management business processes and practices
· MS Office
