Are you the enthusiastic, talented intern we’re looking for?
To successfully transform and grow our business at Philips, it is key that we harness the full potential, capabilities and diversity of all our employees. Starting this summer, we are looking for highly motivated interns who will get the opportunity to be working on the integrated talent management approach to help Philips make the most of every employee’s potential.

Your responsibilities

Support the design and roll-out of key Leadership, Talent Management and Learning projects and processes, including learning and leadership development programs and talent processes such as:
•Producing data, reports and/or predictive analytics to enable fact-based decision making
•Working with the Leadership, talent and learning partners to manage and drive outcomes from the annual talent review cycle.
•Helping launch the training and communications for the annual Talent Review cycle using a new global HRIT system (Workday)
•Designing and maintain the Leadership, Talent and Learning content of the company HR portal
•Deploying of our renewed leadership competencies into the organization
•Supporting the roll-out of key Inclusion and Diversity initiatives
•Supporting and deploy function-specific talent initiatives e.g. rotations and assignments
•Tracking KPIs for the HR function

Your team

•You will be working in Corporate Human Resources, specifically Leadership, Talent Management and Learning (LTL) CoE. The CoE (Center of Expertise) has a role of providing subject matter expertise to support HR Business Partners in delivering the people strategy.
•You’ll be part of the Global Project Pool, a team of 5 professionals who are working on a pooled basis for all LTL partners and Subject Matter Experts, where your major responsibilities will lie in the scope of the LTL partners you will be supporting.
•You will be working closely with LTL Partners, LTL Project Leaders and LTL Specialists on a daily basis. Moreover you will be interacting with HR Business Partners and Chief HR Officers.

This internship offers you to be the member of a global team based in the headquarters of a 115,000 employee multi-national business where you can gain visibility to how processes are designed and governed at a global enterprise level. In addition, you will be invited to collaborate on highly visible projects concerning our leadership and talent in the organization.
•It can be discussed to make this internship assignment suitable to do your graduation/thesis, 20% of the time
•Duration: 6+ months
•We prefer students able to start per October 2014

Internship conditions

1.     Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.
2.     A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.
3.     A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.
4.     The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.
5.     Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)

We are looking for

To be successful in this internship we are looking for you:
·         Currently studying towards your Master of science WO (Msc.) or HBO (final year) in:
o    Business Administration
o    Human Resources
o    (International) Business Management
o    Psychology
o    Communications
o    Management Sciences.
·         A highly motivated student who is eager to learn about key topics Leadership, Talent Management and Learning;
·         Someone who has proven to be able to work effectively on multiple projects at the same time, with a minimum of direction;
·         Knowledge of HR processes
·         Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint and above-average Excel skills;
·         Creative, independent and analytical thinking skills;
·         Affinity with or passion for Big Data and (Talent) Analytics
·         Interest in Organizational Effectiveness
·         Strong written and verbal communication skills;
·         Fluent English – oral and written
