The Commercial Operations organization is at the heart of the supply chain activities within Healthcare. Within Commercial Operations, we believe that Project Managers, who oversee the delivery and installation of our products to our customers, play an increasingly important role in orchestrating the supply chain and driving customer value. Supporting this vision, the Project Management and Installations program was launched, driving a number of projects to position and enable project managers to take this orchestrating role.
For this important program we are looking for you, self-starting, curious and result oriented. You are directly connected to one of the improvement projects within the program, focusing on project performance. Your responsibilities
In your role in the Project Management and Installations program, you will:
· Define a set of measurements and (key) performance indicators – (K)PIs – to drive project performance
· Develop reports and dashboard to track and report project performance effectively
· Support in the deployment of the (K)PIs and reports into the various market organizations
· Deliver results in a “make it happen” attitude
· Drive the content in a collaborative way
Your team
You will be part of the Philips Healthcare Commercial Operations team and cooperate closely with Senior Management of the Project Management & Installations program team. This team delivers improvement projects to the Healthcare organization globally, focusing on the commercial supply chain operations of sector Healthcare.

· Duration 3-6 months
· We prefer students able to start per September 2014, not later than October 2014
1. Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.
2. A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.
3. A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.
4. The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.

To be successful in this internship we are looking you:
· Currently studying towards an HBO (Bachelor)/ University (WO) Bachelor of science/Master of science (Bsc./Msc.) degree in:
o Supply Chain Management
o Business Administration
o Business Economics
o Business Informatics
o (International) Business Management
o Computer Sciences
o ICT
o Technical Discipline with minor in Business Administration
o Finance
o Economics
In addition, we are looking for someone with the following competences:
· Strong analytical, problem solving skills combined with a strong business sense and a drive for business impact
· Ability to manage and organize both your own work as well as projects
· An open and global oriented work mentality, combined with a true self-starter character which will contribute to the overall team
· Affinity with IT, e.g. applications like Excel / Access is a plus
· Good communication skills; solid spoken and written English
