Your challenge

Are you the enthusiastic, talented intern we’re looking for?

Philips Lighting is stepping up in Digital, and we challenge you to be a part of this. As part of the work regarding sales (B2C and B2B) in the online channels you will do various analyses of market situation and related numbers. You will work for the central digital team and in close cooperation with BG’s (Business Groups) and countries across the globe.

Your responsibilities

Being the support for the e-Commerce global marketing work stream reporting to head of ecommerce
Execute market analysis including financial reviews and marketing ROI calculations. Prepare reporting.
Internship will give a wide experience of various ecommerce models including executions whilst supporting global ecommerce team
Your team

You will be part of e-Commerce team within the Global Digital organization of Philips Lighting. You will actively work with BG and Market stakeholders to capture market and financial data. You will also work with the head of e-Commerce to prepare reports and presentations

Our offer

The internship is based working experience nature and gives a broad overview of the fast growing area of ecommerce marketing activation in both B2C as B2B field.

We prefer students able to start as soon as possible, not later than October 2014
Internship conditions:
1. Students on work placement or final-year study assignment are paid a work placement or final-year study assignment allowance.
2. A student on a work placement or final-year study assignment is paid an allowance towards rented accommodation, depending on his/her situation. This will be determined setting up the Intern Contract.
3. A student on work placement or final-year study assignment who can prove that he/she is not entitled to a student card for public transport (OV-studentenkaart) is paid an allowance to cover the cost of travel between home and the place of work in accordance with the Conditions of Employment Guideline.
4. The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.
5. Opportunity to buy Philips products with tax benefit (Philips MyShop)

We are looking for

To be successful in this internship we are looking for you:

· Currently studying towards your Bachelor HBO (BBA) / University Bachelor of Science/Master of science WO (Bsc./Msc.) in:
o Business Administration
o Business Economics
o Business Informatics
o Marketing

· Are fluent in oral and written English (other languages like German, Spanish etc. are a plus)
· Previous internship experience in e-Commerce in large organization is a plus
· 6 months - 1 year of digital experience preferably in the area of ecommerce
· Experience to work with different country markets is a plus
· Results oriented, proactive
· Strong collaboration skills
